Pauline Stott, MBE

My management journey started over 20 years ago, working for Swinton Insurance and becoming the youngest Branch manager in the area. This gave me a taste of leadership and created a passion for delivering excellence for every customer, regardless of the query. Moving through the company over 15 years and having the key role of Regional Manager, running over 30 branches from Wick to Newcastle.

People are key in every business so I am passionate about delegation, empowerment, team work and allowing personal skills to be rewarded. Working together as one is fundamental to success.

Moving through my career I worked as a Director of Sport in a busy school, leading by example and being extremely organised in order to gain the best from our staff and pupils. Having this specific hands on knowledge allows me to share my ideas, challenge behaviours and allowing departments to have an in-depth look at their practices in order to develop and grow.

Pressures on work forces at this time is continually under the spot light so I feel strongly I can assist departments, leaders, staff and students to further enhance their experience in their establishment.

I look forward to being an influencer in your department and working closely to challenge, stretch and strengthen your resilience to empower all.
